Hey, did anyone see that great picture of, none other, "Mark Swanson", in
the press last sunday. Great picture but it sure could have given a little
more hype about your guitars and your community involvement with
other luthiers in Michigan.
Congrats Mark.
I came by to say hello after Ken played, you probably didn't recognize me
with my boy who is almost ten months now.

Hello Joel! And thanks for the nice comments about that picture...I got lucky there. I had no idea they were going to print my pic at all, much less a big one on the front page- prominently featuring my guitar, too! I had a good solo set on sunday, and the trio played a good set on saturday. I also serve as the folk music chairman for the festival organizing committee. Great fun- now I'm glad it's over!
Now I am just finishing up the guitar that I am taking out to Tacoma for the GAL conference in a couple of weeks!
The boy must really be growing fast! I didn't see you or him, Joel- it's been too long, and things were just too hectic down there! Mark Swanson38875.4110185185

yeah, what did you think about those showers that rolled through. sheets
and sheets of rain. i made it down to see ken play and saw you strolling
around. i tried to get over and say hello but you looked pretty busy. that
definitely was a great pic of you and your guitar, i hope it helps to
promote your work a little. every little bit helps...

was wondering when your next tuesday night meeting was taking place.
would love to start joining you guys again and keep everybody updated
with all that has been happening.

take it easy and hope to see you soon.

joel

Joel, it would be nice to see you too! I want to hear all about it.
The GAL meeting in Tacoma, where I am heading on the 20th, messes up the next tuesday thing because it was on that day! So it'll have to wait until the end of the month.
